1. About this notice

This Privacy Notice applies to the Candour Home pre-launch website and the mailing-list signup offered through its Coming Soon page. It explains what information we use, why we use it and the choices available to you.

2. Who is responsible for your information

Candour Home is responsible for the personal information described in this notice. Our formal business identity details will be added when they are established and required for the pre-launch service.

3. Information we collect

When you join the mailing list, we collect:

• your email address;
• whether you gave marketing consent;
• the date and time that consent was recorded; and
• the signup source, such as the Coming Soon page.

Vercel Web Analytics collects anonymized information about visits to the website without using cookies. Vercel Speed Insights collects anonymous website-performance information, including Core Web Vitals. Candour Home does not send mailing-list details or form contents to these services.

The signup uses Cloudflare Turnstile to distinguish genuine visitors from automated abuse. Your browser communicates directly with Cloudflare for this check, and Cloudflare may process technical connection and browser information under its applicable data-protection arrangements. Candour Home does not send your IP address with its server-side Turnstile verification request.

4. Why we use your information

We use the information to:

• add you to the Candour Home pre-launch mailing list;
• send the launch updates, news and future marketing communications you have requested;
• maintain evidence of your marketing consent; and
• manage unsubscribe and consent-withdrawal requests.

5. Legal basis

Our legal basis for processing information for this marketing list is your consent. You can withdraw that consent at any time. Withdrawal will not affect the lawfulness of processing that took place before you withdrew it.

6. Service providers

Candour Home uses or may use service providers acting on its behalf to operate the website and mailing list. For Milestone 0, these include:

• Brevo, as the email marketing and contact-management provider; and
• Cloudflare, as the provider of Turnstile abuse protection; and
• Vercel, as the website hosting and deployment provider and as the provider of Web Analytics and Speed Insights.

Providers process information according to their applicable data-protection arrangements. We will review those arrangements as each service is activated.

7. International transfers

Some service providers may process information outside the country where you live. Where the GDPR requires it, appropriate safeguards will be used for those transfers. The applicable arrangements will depend on the provider and processing in use at the time.

8. How long we keep information

Mailing-list information is retained while you remain subscribed, or for as long as reasonably required to maintain evidence of consent or withdrawal and meet applicable legal obligations. We stop using your information for marketing when you unsubscribe or withdraw consent.

9. Marketing and unsubscribing

Joining the mailing list is voluntary. The consent checkbox is unticked by default, and marketing will be sent only after you actively consent. Future marketing emails will include a way to unsubscribe at any time. You can also withdraw consent by emailing info@candourhome.com.

10. Data protection rights

Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, you may have rights to:

• ask for access to your personal information;
• have inaccurate information corrected;
• ask for information to be erased or its use restricted;
• receive certain information in a portable format;
• withdraw your consent; and
• object to certain processing where that right applies.

These rights are not unconditional and may not apply in every situation. To make a request, email info@candourhome.com. We may need to confirm your identity before responding.

We may update this notice as Candour Home develops or as the pre-launch service changes. The latest version will appear on this page, with its updated date.
